The Clinical Education Center uses high-fidelity interactive mannequins and a vast array of leap-ahead technology to train clinicians in the latest procedures working with state-of-the-art equipment. UMC Brackenridge is also home to the region’s first nursing residency program, and recently celebrated its 75th year of graduate medical education.

UMC Brackenridge is the only Level II Trauma Facility serving the Central Texas area. It is Texas’ busiest Level II Trauma Center, and the fourth-busiest emergency department in the state.
