Our Emergency Department is a designated Level IV Trauma Center using the latest technologies and a vast network of specialists to treat unexpected illness and injury around the clock. Our superior Women’s Services include the maternity unit, a Level II special care nursery, preventive screening mammograms and innovative alternatives to traditional gynecological surgery. Seton Northwest has long been recognized for its outstanding nursing practices. This was validated when the hospital received the highest honor of the American Nurses Association—Magnet designation. In addition, Seton Northwest was one of only three U.S. hospitals initially chosen by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to participate in an initiative called Transforming Care at the Bedside.
